How to Make a Rabbit Centerpiece

How to Make a Rabbit Centerpiece

Recently, we welcomed the most adorable rabbit for Easter. This charming piece is a natural oak bark rabbit that comes in two sizes. Lorie thought it would be perfect for creating a table arrangement with florals and greenery. For a video tutorial, hop on over to our YouTube page at TMI Gifts.

To begin your design, you'll need the following supplies:

17 Inch Natural Oak Bark Standing Rabbit
A small piece of floral foam
21 Inch Pink Gerbera Daisy Floral Bush
19 Inch Yellow Rose Bud Bush
36 Inch Pink Cherry Blossom Spray
16 Inch White Anemone Floral Bush
14 Inch Artificial Eucalyptus Bush
12.5 Inch Myrtle Greenery Bush
1.5 Inch By 10 Yard Pastel Daisy Easter Egg Ribbon

Lorie starts by attaching a small piece of floral foam to the base of the rabbit using hot glue. This will be covered with florals, greenery, and moss, but we'll leave one side exposed for visibility.

Begin by placing moss over the foam, pressing it down firmly. Lorie mentions that she sometimes uses a floral pin or glue for added security.
Next, trim and prepare your floral and greenery bushes.

Lorie begins with a yellow rose pick, ensuring the stems remain short to keep the focus on the bunny. She also incorporates a lovely pinkish flower from her collection. As you’ll see in the video, she saves unused pieces from stems, which is a great practice for adding extra greenery later. We’ve suggested two alternative florals in the product list that could replace the pink flower.

While it’s challenging to provide exact placement instructions for your greenery and florals, feel free to experiment. The images included should offer helpful guidance. The pink flower is positioned to the far right of the roses, maintaining a low profile.
Next, Lorie adds a white anemone flower with a bit of greenery for height, placing it to the right. Continue incorporating greenery throughout the design—this is a playful, iterative process, so take your time!

Finally, create a small bow with the daisy Easter egg ribbon and tie it around the rabbit's neck to complete your charming table arrangement for Easter.

This delightful piece is perfect for displaying on a mantle or table. Though this blog may not be a detailed step-by-step guide, remember that our complete YouTube tutorial provides thorough guidance through the entire process. You can purchase all these items at tmigifts.com.
