Create a Beautiful Patriotic Floral Arrangement That Lasts All Season
There is something so special about decorating with red, white, and blue. Whether you're getting your home ready for Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, or simply love Americana style, a patriotic floral arrangement is an easy way to add color and personality to your space.
One of our favorite things about using faux florals is that you can enjoy them all season long. They stay beautiful, require no maintenance, and can easily be refreshed with a few new stems whenever you're ready for a different look.
For this arrangement, we started by creating a strong foundation with a ficus leaf. Beginning with greenery gives your arrangement structure and makes layering the remaining stems much easier.
Next, we added a 24 Inch Dark Green Mini Eucalyptus Bush throughout the design. The eucalyptus adds texture, fills empty spaces, and creates a natural backdrop for the flowers.
To bring in height and a bold pop of patriotic color, we incorporated a 32 Inch Royal Blue Gladiolas Bush. Cutting the stems apart allowed us to place each bloom exactly where it created the most impact.
We then tucked in an 18 Inch Red Cherry Blossom Bush to add movement and vibrant color throughout the arrangement. The lighter blooms help soften the design while balancing the bold blue gladiolas.
Instead of separating the stems, we left the 21.5 Inch White Ranunculus Spray whole. This made it easy to fill larger areas while adding soft white blooms that brighten the entire arrangement.
One of our favorite unexpected additions is the 32 Inch Dark Blue Pine Spray. While it may not be the first stem you think to use in a floral arrangement, it brings incredible texture and just the right amount of sparkle. Sometimes those unexpected elements are what make a design truly stand out.
To make the arrangement even more festive, we added a 34 Inch White Glitter Star Berry Pine Spray. The glittered berries catch the light beautifully and give the arrangement a subtle shimmer without overpowering the florals.
To create fullness and make the arrangement feel lush, we finished the floral portion with beautiful red hydrangeas. Their large blooms help anchor the design while tying all of the colors together.
For the final touch, we added a 14 Inch Red White Blue Glitter Curl Pick. Stretching some of the curls outward adds movement, dimension, and just the right amount of festive flair to complete the arrangement.
